Homologeo is to say the same thing as God says — to confess is to agree. Adikia is unrighteousness. Asham (the Hebrew) is guilt, but it is also the specific Levitical sacrifice the guilty bring. Apate is deceit — the friendly kind that disguises itself. Skleruno is what happens to a heart that keeps refusing: it hardens.
